Life is long, and you and you use your teeth constantly. You want to keep them in fantastic condition, not just aesthetically, but functionally. Tooth decay can permanently impact your way of life, making it difficult to chew and causing you to lose confidence in your smile. Don’t fear! You have everything you need to keep your teeth in incredible condition for years to come.The key is developing an excellent tooth care routine. Today, we are going to cover everything that should be included in just such a routine.
1. Flossing
Flossing is an essential element of proper oral hygiene routine. Flossing clears out hard to reach plaque and debris that would otherwise be missed by brushing. This helps protect you both from cavities and gum disease. It is recommended that you floss at least once a day.
Plan on flossing before you brush so that any loosened debris will be cleared away during the brushing process. Make sure you floss in between all of your teeth too! Even those hard to reach ones waaaaay in the back. Once you get into the habit of flossing, it’s a process you will breeze through each day.
